Over the next few decades, history’s largest intergenerational wealth transfer will pass more than $30 trillion from Baby Boomers to Millennials and Generation X. Until then, Generation X remains in the middle of an enormous generational wealth disparity, with many in this ‘sandwich generation’ supporting both their adult Millennial children and their elderly Boomer parents.
